Metaview Closes $60M Series C to Automate Recruiting With AI Agents
The AI recruiting startup has raised $110 million total and claims its agents have conducted over 6 million interviews. The company is now expanding its platform and workforce as it pursues what its CEO calls a "Claude Code moment" for the hiring industry.

Metaview Labs Inc., an artificial intelligence recruiting software company, announced the completion of a $60 million Series C funding round, describing the moment as a turning point for the industry. Insight Partners led the investment, joined by GV, Seedcamp, Vertex Ventures US, Intrepid Growth Partners, Plural and Garuda Ventures. The funding brings Metaview's cumulative capital raised to $110 million.
Founded in 2018 by Siadhal Magos and Shahriar Tajbakhsh—both former employees at Uber Technologies Inc. and Palantir Technologies Inc.—Metaview operates as the chief executive and chief technology officer respectively. The startup has built AI agents designed to handle the full spectrum of recruitment tasks, including job posting creation, candidate sourcing and screening, resume review, and preliminary interviews.
Metaview's AI agents have already completed more than 6 million interviews, according to Magos. The system transforms candidate responses into structured notes that human recruiters can use to identify finalists for face-to-face meetings. Magos emphasized that humans retain control by setting interview questions and job qualifications before the agents begin their work.
In a blog post, Magos drew a parallel between the evolution of software engineering and the future of recruiting. "The role of software engineers has evolved from writing code to orchestrating AI agents that do the grunt work for them, and now he predicts that recruiters are going to follow the same path." He characterized recruitment as "hard, laborious work" with minimal technological support, noting that companies often expand and contract their hiring teams based on temporary needs—a cycle he called "expensive, ineffective and painful for all involved."
Current labor market conditions underscore the need for automation. Magos pointed to a surge in job applications, stating that "applications per recruiter have increased 412%." This has left recruiters managing oversized application backlogs while juggling profile searches, outreach writing, interview scheduling, feedback collection and information transfers across multiple systems.

More than 7,000 companies now use Metaview's agents, with notable clients including Deel, Affirm and Replit Inc. These organizations have achieved time-to-hire reductions exceeding 75%, according to the company.
New Capabilities and Expansion Plans
Alongside the funding announcement, Metaview introduced fillmore, a new autonomous recruiting agent available today. The tool researches prospective candidates, builds target lists, drafts personalized outreach emails, manages follow-up exchanges and arranges meetings—all within Slack. Magos stated that "recruiting becomes always-on, while people stay in control of the decisions that matter" through this automation.
The company has outlined three core priorities for its growth phase. First, it plans to expand its platform with additional specialized agents covering different recruitment functions. Second, Metaview is opening a new office in New York City and scaling its workforce from its current headcount of approximately 80 people to more than 250 by the end of next year. The company is actively recruiting for engineering, product, design and go-to-market positions.
Third, Metaview intends to scale its 10x Recruiting program, which provides training in AI tools for human recruiters. Magos emphasized that "The shift to agentic recruiting requires a new skill set, not just new software," and predicted that "The best teams of the next decade will be built by people who know how to use these tools well."
