Linx Security Secures $50M to Expand Identity Governance Platform
The identity and access management startup announced a Series B funding round to fuel global expansion and accelerate development of its autonomous identity governance capabilities.

Linx Security Inc., a startup focused on identity security and government platforms, announced a $50 million Series B funding round aimed at broadening its international presence, strengthening enterprise sales operations and advancing work on autonomous identity governance technologies.
Established in 2023, Linx Security delivers a platform built to tackle the mounting difficulty of overseeing human, machine and application identities within large-scale enterprise settings. The system continuously tracks identity behavior, permissions and connections spanning cloud environments, software-as-a-service offerings and on-premises infrastructure.
The platform operates by collecting activity logs, access policies and setup information from identity management systems, cloud providers and business applications. A specialized data processing layer then analyzes this information to map identity relationships and privilege hierarchies, enabling detection of unusual patterns, overly broad permissions and breaches of access policies.
The offering includes a newly introduced autonomous artificial intelligence tool named Autopilot, which examines the processed data to spot potential threats and recommend suitable corrective measures.
Capabilities encompass automated identity detection, privilege assessment and threat identification for both human users and nonhuman entities including service accounts and application programming interface keys. The system also furnishes tools for managing access governance workflows such as user provisioning, removal and periodic access assessments.
Linx positions its platform as particularly valuable for enterprises operating with several cloud vendors and software solutions, where uncontrolled identity proliferation and disconnected permission systems present significant operational hurdles.
The startup has demonstrated robust expansion and counts Wiz Inc., Evolv Technologies Holdings Inc., New American Funding LLC, Allegro Microsystems Inc. and Aramark Corp. among its clientele.
Insight Partners LP spearheaded the Series B round, with Cyberstarts and Index Ventures Management joining as co-investors.
Identity governance has shifted from a back-office compliance function to a core pillar of enterprise security. This funding allows us to scale faster and meet the growing demand from organizations that need real-time visibility and control over every kind of identity operating in their environment.
Israel Duanis, Linx Security co-founder and Chief Executive
The Series B round brings Linx's cumulative funding to $83 million. The company completed its Series A round in July 2024, raising $33 million at that time.
