Andreessen Horowitz contributed $87 million in equity funding, alongside investments from QED Investors, Castle Island Ventures, Switch Ventures, Contour Venture Partners and Endeavor Catalyst. General Catalyst's Customer Value Fund provided $113 million in debt financing to support the company's expansion.

Since its 2020 founding by Manuel Godoy and Bernardo García, the Miami-based firm has accumulated approximately $300 million in total funding. The company declined to disclose its post-Series C valuation, noting only that it had grown threefold from its Series B round of $75 million, which QED Investors led in 2025.

The platform has facilitated over $8 billion in transaction volume and achieved revenue growth exceeding 2.5 times year-over-year. Félix operates across 11 Latin American nations, connecting users in the United States with recipients in Mexico, Brazil, Costa Rica, Honduras and Peru.

I experienced this problem personally. When I came to the U.S., even getting a small loan was harder than it should have been. Traditional financial institutions often start with the product they want you to use. We want to start with the person. You tell Félix what you need, in your own words, and we help you figure out the rest.

Ali Yahya, general partner at a16z crypto, characterized Félix as exemplifying "what the future of financial services can look like for millions of Latinos in the United States." He elaborated that the company has "packaged two frontier technologies, AI and blockchain networks, into something simple and consumer-friendly: a better way to send and receive money."

The company intends to deploy the capital toward broadening its product offerings and establishing operations in additional Latin American markets.

Across the broader fintech sector, startups raised $28.6 billion globally during the first half of 2026, representing a 22.7% increase compared to the same period in 2025. However, this figure declined 17.3% relative to the $34.6 billion raised in the second half of the previous year, according to Crunchbase data.
