ERA Winter 2027 deadline is Nov 2: $150K for 6% and how to apply
ERA's Winter 2027 applications close on November 2, 2026. The New York accelerator invests $150,000 for 6% and starts its four-month programme on January 11, 2027.
The application deadline for the ERA (Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator) Winter 2027 cohort is November 2, 2026, according to the accelerator's apply page. ERA invests $150,000 on a post-money SAFE for 6% of each company, and the four-month New York City programme starts on January 11, 2027. Applications go through a Google Form linked from that page.
ERA does not publish a cut-off time for November 2, so the safest course is to submit by November 1, US Eastern Time. Note that US clocks fall back on November 1, 2026, so New York is on UTC-5 by deadline day.

ERA's FAQ explains that the SAFE converts into preferred shares equal to 6% of fully diluted capitalisation at the company's next equity round. The amount is the same whatever the number of founders. The FAQ also says ERA connects companies with investors but does not lead or price their rounds; it does follow on after a company's seed round.
Alongside the cash, ERA lists free office space, cloud hosting credits and partner perks, including $70,000 in fee-free Stripe payment processing. The cohort ends with a Demo Day where companies pitch to angels and venture funds; ERA notes that fundraising is not guaranteed.
Who can apply
Based on ERA's FAQ, as of October 2026 the main requirements and preferences are:
- For-profit companies only; ERA cannot invest in non-profits.
- A US C corporation. LLCs and foreign entities have to convert (flip) into one.
- Mostly technology and software businesses, B2B or B2C.
- No fixed stage, though most applicants have a team and an initial product.
- Teams of two to four founders are preferred, with a strong preference for at least one technical cofounder.
- Key leaders must work on the company full time.
- Companies that have already raised money may apply.
ERA accepts applications from anywhere, but the programme expects companies to work from its New York space. It does not cover interview travel and does not help with work visas, so international founders need to plan for both themselves.
How to apply
- Read the programme details and FAQ on eranyc.com.
- Make sure your entity is, or will become, a US C corporation.
- Open the Google Form from the "Apply Now" button on the apply page and complete it before November 2, 2026.
- Keep your deck, product link and founder details ready; ERA does not sign NDAs but says it keeps submissions confidential within its team.
ERA runs two cohorts a year, starting in January and June, so teams that miss this window can aim for the summer intake.
Same day as the YC Winter 2027 deadline
Y Combinator's on-time deadline for its Winter 2027 batch is also November 2, at 8pm PT (04:00 UTC on November 3), per YC's apply page, so founders weighing both programmes face the same date. Our guide to the YC Winter 2027 deadline covers that process in detail.
The two deals differ in size and structure:
- ERA: $150,000 on a single post-money SAFE for 6%; four months in New York from January 11, 2027.
- YC: $500,000 in total, per its standard deal page: $125,000 on a post-money SAFE for 7%, plus $375,000 on an uncapped MFN SAFE that converts on the terms of the lowest-cap SAFE the company issues between roughly the start of the batch and its priced round. The batch runs January to March in San Francisco.
For other cohorts closing this autumn, see our list of startup accelerator application deadlines, and follow new rounds in the Funding section.
ERA's track record
ERA was founded in 2011. On its apply page it says alumni companies have raised more than $2.5 billion from investors and have a combined market value above $10 billion. These figures come from ERA itself and have not been independently audited.
