MVP development studio, fixed price: how Vii Studio sells certainty to founders

For founders commissioning a first version of a product, an open-ended budget is a common worry. Vii Studio's answer is a quote fixed in the contract; Fathom Tech looked at what else comes with it and which claims rest on the studio's own word.

Founders buying development work for an early product face a familiar trade-off: hourly billing keeps a vendor flexible but leaves the final cost open. Vii Studio, the independent studio led by its co-founders, the brothers Vidzhai Hukasian (CEO) and Viru Gukasian (COO), has built its commercial pitch around the opposite approach. Its offer reads like a checklist for anyone shopping for an MVP development studio: fixed price, revisions included, support after launch. The studio has been operating since 2010 and puts its count of shipped projects at over 100.

What the MVP development studio fixed price model includes

The studio's commercial terms are short enough to list in full:

  • A fixed quote written into the contract, with no surprise add-ons.
  • Revisions until the result is right, included in the price.
  • Support after launch, rather than a handover and a goodbye.
  • A reply to inquiries within 24 hours and a free first consultation.

For a founder, the value of that structure is predictability: the budget is negotiated once, before work starts. The catch with any fixed price is that it only holds if the scope is well defined, which is why the studio front-loads research and design. It says logic and visuals are agreed through prototypes, UX work and a design system before code is written. The studio calls the result a process with "no black boxes", in which the client can follow what is happening at each stage, the cost and the expected completion date.

The speed claim behind the price

The second half of the pitch is pace. Vii Studio says AI has been built into its research, concepts, code and testing since long before the approach went mainstream, and that it now works two to three times faster with no loss of quality. It says it reinvests the time and budget that this saves.

Fathom Tech has not independently verified that multiplier. It matters to the business model regardless. Under a fixed quote, efficiency gains go to whichever party carries the risk of overruns, and here that is the studio. Founders should still ask how AI-assisted code is reviewed; on paper, the studio's answer is testing at every step of the build rather than a single pass at the end.

Product experience from the vendor's side

Design skill is easy to show in a portfolio; experience of owning a product is harder to demonstrate. Vii Studio's claim to the latter predates its current name. In 2011, operating as NiceWeb, the team created a ready-to-deploy social-network platform, Vii Engine, and sold it as a licence. The studio puts the tally at 89 licences, with thousands of users active in communities built on the software.

The engine shipped with more than 50 modules that were switched on per project, a set-up that forces a team to think about configuration, performance and growth rather than a single launch. The studio says the experience trained it to think at product scale rather than page scale, which is the mindset a founder needs from a partner once an MVP starts to find users.

Retention features after the first release

An MVP that finds users usually needs reasons for them to come back. The studio's portfolio includes an earlier example: Sweeter, a 2019 Swift/UIKit iOS app for SWEETER, a takeaway coffee chain that has been roasting its own beans since 2014. Customers carry an individual QR-code loyalty card and a running bonus balance in the app, browse the chain's own roasts with tasting notes, and see promotions and news.

Features like these are rarely finished at launch. Loyalty rules, promotions and catalog content change with the business, which is where a post-launch support commitment has practical weight for a client.

Two launch routes: stores or Telegram

For booking products, the studio's recent reference is MPower Skating, a 2026 iOS app in which ice-hockey players book skating sessions and skill-building training. Its audience includes coaches and academies as well as players; under the hood are SwiftUI, a PHP server side and Stripe for payments, a choice that keeps card processing with an established provider instead of custom billing code. The app is available on the App Store.

The second route avoids app stores altogether. The studio builds Telegram Mini Apps with payments, profiles and broadcasts, and pitches them as a way to launch with no stores or long reviews. For an MVP whose first job is to test demand, that removes one of the less predictable dates from a launch plan. The studio's 2025 Duck Road game is one example of the format.

What founders should still pin down

A fixed price protects a budget only as far as the scope behind it is clear. Before signing on these terms with Vii Studio or any other vendor, founders should get in writing what counts as a revision and what counts as new scope, what post-launch support covers and for how long, and which launch channel fits the first test. The studio's model settles the budget question early; the scope document is where that answer is either kept or lost.
