Salesforce Rolls Out Suite of AI Agents to Boost Sales and Support Operations
Salesforce has unveiled multiple artificial intelligence agents designed to enhance productivity across sales and customer support functions, with most capabilities available immediately and remaining features launching before year's end.

Salesforce Inc. has unveiled a collection of artificial intelligence agents aimed at improving the efficiency of sales and technical support departments. These agents are launching alongside an updated iteration of Agentforce Coworker, a built-in automation platform available across several Salesforce cloud offerings. The majority of these new capabilities are accessible now, with additional functionality arriving by the close of the year.
Sales-Focused Agents
Hunter represents Salesforce's primary sales agent, engineered to assist business-to-business sales professionals in identifying prospects and composing targeted outreach communications. The agent also handles downstream sales activities, including presentation preparation and proposal generation. A specialized component called the long-horizon runtime allows Hunter to manage extended sales cycles by creating comprehensive work strategies and maintaining data continuity across multiple conversation threads. Currently, this runtime exists exclusively within Hunter, though Salesforce intends to expand it to additional agents in the future.
Two additional sales agents debuted alongside Hunter. Piper and Carter are designed for embedding within company websites. Piper engages business-to-business prospects upon arrival and routes them to appropriate sales representatives. Carter serves e-commerce businesses by addressing customer inquiries about products and includes an integrated checkout feature within the chat interface.
Support and Operations Agents
Salesforce customer support teams now have access to two new agents for handling support functions. Casey handles automated processes like managing product return requests. Fin addresses comparable support scenarios and incorporates technology from a $3.6 billion acquisition Salesforce completed earlier this year.
Beyond external support, Salesforce introduced Paige, an agent designed for internal help desk operations that manages employee questions related to human resources and technical matters. Marshall, another new agent, targets supply chain departments by automating routine operational tasks.
Customization and Enhancement
Organizations can tailor these agents through Agent Script, a specialized programming language that allows developers to enforce specific execution patterns for critical functions. According to Salesforce, this approach diminishes the likelihood of AI hallucinations. The updated Agentforce Coworker platform now includes Multi-Agent Orchestration, enabling the system to distribute complex assignments across multiple focused subagents. Additional improvements include continuous optimization of subagent performance and a new AI Skills capability that simplifies customization of Agentforce Coworker's operational methods. Agentforce Coworker itself permits staff to access business information including customer details and serves as a management interface for agents developed by team members.
